Asia Development Fellow Learn About Korean Development Experience

Fellowship to Korea

The Asia Foundation hosted a development specialist from developing countries in Asia to learn about Korea’s development experience.


Ms. Vilayphone Choulamany, presently an advisor at the Vientiane Youth and Women’s Health Centre from Laos, will be placed at the Institute for Development and Human Security (IDHS), Ewha Womans University in Seoul, where she will carry out her proposed research entitled “Menstrual Health Management – a South Korean Case Study.” The duration of the fellowship is approximately two to three months and fellows will produce a research paper at the end of the fellowship term.


The research fellowship is sponsored by the KDI School as part of the International Development Cooperation Capacity Building Program.
