Cambodia Study Visit to Korea


November 12-18, 2017

From November 12 to 18, The Asia Foundation Korea office organized a study tour in Korea on the Women’s Economic Participation: Korea’s Experiences and Practices for a delegation of 15 participants from Cambodia representing the government, NGOs, and the private sector working in the area of promoting women’s economic participation. The study tour, generously supported by the Korea Development Institute School of Public Policy and Management (KDI School), drew upon Korea’s experience and practices on women’s economic participation.


During their visit, the delegation had meetings with the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family, Ministry of Employment and Labor, Korean Women’s Development Institute, Ewha Womans University Startup Center, Seoul Nambu Woman Up Center, Seoul Working Mom Support Center, Korean Women Entrepreneurs Association Jeonbuk, Jeonbuk Small Business Hope Center and other relevant organizations.
