The Friends of The Asia Foundation Korea is a member-supported, non-profit, locally registered organization committed to providing moral as well as financial support for The Asia Foundation programs in Korea. Over the past fifty years The Asia Foundation has worked closely with Koreans to build strong institutions in various sectors, including international relations, civil society, higher education, and economic development.
The “Friends” was established in 2004 by several key members of The Asia Foundation’s Korean partners to strengthen and support the Foundation’s programs, particularly in the areas of promoting a healthy Korea-US relationship as well as peace and prosperity on the Korean peninsula and the Asia-Pacific region. Private corporations who are interested in supporting programs related to Northeast Asia, US-Korea relations and cooperation with Asian developing countries can participate by supporting programs of The Asia Foundation Korea office.
Corporations who join the Friends of The Asia Foundation can receive a tax benefit. The member’s fee should be paid to the Friends of The Asia Foundation’s account.
