Korean Delegation Visits Myanmar to Study International Development Cooperation in Transitional Countries

The Asia Foundation’s Asia Development Fellows visited Myanmar from May 14-22, 2016, to study International Development Cooperation in the transitioning Myanmar. Sponsored by KDI School, the delegation composed of 12 development practitioners from the Korean government, NGOs, and academia participated in the program.
During the visit, the delegation visited KOICA Myanmar office, Korean Embassy, Asia Development Bank(ADB), Center for Economic and Social Development(CESD) in Myanmar Development Resource Institute (MDRI), Myanmar Centre for Responsible Business(MCRB), Myanmar Parliament Office and Euro-Burma Office(EBO). The fellows were able to gain knowledge concerning various perspectives, and current on-going activities of diverse development agencies in Myanmar and further discussed future cooperation.
