May 19, 2022 – The Asia Foundation Washington office hosted a virtual report launch event for "Firm Partners In An Unstable Region: Prospects for Trilateral Cooperation between the Republic of Korea, the United States, and Australia."

The dissemination event featured Jung-Hun Cho, Member of the National Assembly, Republic of Korea, Gordon Flake, Founding CEO, PerthUSAsia Centre, The University of Western Australia, Michael J. Green, Senior Vice President for Asia and Japan Chair, Center for Strategic and International Studies, and John Brandon, Senior Director, International Relations Programs.

Trade and Economic Cooperation were seen as key opportunities for collaboration among the three countries, remarked Congressman Jung-Hun Cho.  While security issues are being addressed, economic and trade relationships remain key gaps and opportunities among the three countries, including supply chain resilience, investment and infrastructure standards, as pointed out by Dr. Gordon Flake and Dr. Michael Green.
